There are those on the left who would tell you that as the poorest member of the original Bush cabinet, poor Condi only had a super tanker named after her. That just isn’t true. There is no Chevron tanker currently named Condoleeza Rice. Anyway, since when does money have anything to do with how much power someone has in the Bush White House?
And then there are those on the loonie left that will tell you that while it may not be true that while Rome burned Nero fiddled (the fiddle hadn’t even been invented yet), at least Condi played piano while Palestinians died. They’ll also spread lies about how she shopped for shoes while New Orleans drowned. This is just the typical racist left hating our beloved Condi because she is black. You would never hear them ever accusing Madline Albright of shopping for shoes while Kosovo burned. And yet, I’m sure she did shop for at least shoes during the conflict. Why doesn’t the left point this out? Because Albright is white, and Condi is a negress.
Then there are those lefties who think she could have possibly done something to prevent 9/11. As if there were some sort of magical message or memo warning of an impending attack. And many claim if she weren’t addicted to Ferragamo, many people wouldn’t have drowned in New Orleans. I’m sure another shoe addict would disagree. After all, nothing bad happened to her country while she shopped for shoes. Go ahead and ask my good friend Michelle Malkin about Amelda.
Once again this is nothing more than the racism of the “liberals.” They just can’t stand seeing a black make any kind of progress. Condi is a credit to her race, and a pretty good woman, too. She has done nothing but tried to advance the cause for people like her: wealthy black female board members. It’s not her fault that most black women aren’t wealthy or on any boards. I shudder to think of the racial slurs we will hear from the liberal left when she runs for President in 2008. I can just hear those ugly words, like incompetent, negligent, and passive. Oh it is good most of the civil rights pioneers are dead. Yes. I’m glad they are dead. They don’t have to hear this crap like I do. But that is the subject of another blog.
