I know, as I was writing that headline the first thing that went through my head was that famous quote by my gal pal Ann Coulter about Edwards being a fag. To my British readers, this does not mean that Edwards is a cigarette.
John Edwards will announce today that he is dropping out of the Presidential race. It is unclear at this point if he will endorse anyone. But since you have come to the Blancasphere for insightful political coverage, let me shed some light on the subject.
John’s old running mate, Mr. Munster, endorsed Obama earlier this month, a move that was seen as a political slight to Johnthere.
John had a populist message. You know, all that crap about people, humanizing humans, helping workers. That kind of Commie crap none of us on the right like to think about. After all, none of us ever heard of the phrase “there but for the grace of God go I.” Actually I’m pretty sure all we’ve ever heard from the Bible are a couple of verses from Leviticus and some good crap near the end about Israel ending the world and bringing back the JC.
John has been siphoning votes from Obama.
Fox News has reported that this will help Hillary.
Because of all these facts, I can tell you that John will endorse Barack Obama, and that Barack will get a bump going into Super Tuesday.
Now how can I go against the grain and disagree with Fox News? Simple. I love Fox News. It has all the news I wish were true. But let’s face it, they aren’t playing with a full deck lately. Actually I think Roger Ailes is going to go postal pretty soon and shoot up the whole place.
Anyway, they kicked my girl Ann Coulter off their network. Sure they replaced her with my puki pal Michelle Malkin, but nobody puts Ann in a corner.
We will see how much this helps Obama in a week. But if all indications hold true, he will walk away with quite a few of the states on Super Tuesday.
