Two more reasons to give John McCain back to the Vietnamese surfaced this weekend, when Newsweek reported that John McCain had defaulted on his property taxes for his home in La Jolla, California.

Now as a Republican, I usually admire tax cheats. In fact, I petitioned the Olympic Committee to make tax cheating an event in the Summer Games. But this is the wrong kind of cheating. It’s not Big Oil dicking over the American tax payer, or the super rich off shoring so they don’t have to pay their fair share. That kind of cheating is just the American Way. Or at least the Republican Way.

No, John McCain is cheating on his property taxes, which is just plain wrong. After all, those property taxes pay for school vouchers, which can be used to help pay for private schools by the fabulously wealthy so they don’t have to send their children to schools with colored children.

As if John McCain’s taking money out of the pockets of the rich and famous in Southern California weren’t bad enough, it turns out the the latest person to endorse John McCain is a communist.

None other than Tran Trong Duyet, John McCain’s Vietnamese jailor in the infamous Hanoi Hilton, says he would vote for John McCain if he were an American citizen and not a commie bastard.

However, even though Duyet endorses John McCain and enjoys his “conservative” politics, he calls McCain a liar, stating emphatically that he never tortured McCain to get information from him.

Perhaps Duyet doesn’t understand the meaning of the word “torture.” After all, John McCain’s candidacy has been torture to millions of conservatives across the country.

Just two more reasons not to vote for John McCain, tax cheat and commie lover.
