Obama is doing too many things at the same time, and it just isn’t fair to us Republicans. With the President juggling the housing crisis, the mortgage meltdown, the Wall Street collapse, the War in Iraq, the War in Afghanistan, the health care emergency, our international standing, our domestic economy, and a whole bunch of other things we never worried about when George W. Bush was President, we Republicans can never concentrate on one issue long enough to form a coherent and cogent argument to use against Obama before he goes and changes the subject.
It’s like having a conversation with someone with ADD.
What the hell was I talking about?
Oh, yes, Obama is doing too many things.
Look for eight years we were all spoiled. We never had to think about more than one thing at a time. And sometimes we didn’t even have to think about that. Well, most of the time we never had to think about anything. It was like the nation was humming along on autopilot, and the captain was passed out, drunk, on drugs, with the mental capacity of a tin can. It was pure bliss.
But then marches in this Barack Obama, and suddenly we have to pay attention to everything. And to be quite honest we Republicans are just not up to the task. The vacation is over and there’s a new sherrif in town.
And the Republican Party is Barney Fife.
