Tomorrow is a national holiday in the Philippines to mark Eid-al-Fitr, which is the end of Ramadan. As a gesture of brotherhood with the Philippines’ Muslim citizens, the President oF the Republic of the Philippines, Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, has called for Monday, September 21 to be a national holiday for all Filipinos, not just the Christian ones, but the Catholic and Muslim heathens as well.
I would just like to officially ask for my apology now.
Several months ago I called the Philippines a Muslim nation, and I got some of the most hateful responses. I was called ignorant and stupid. Well, it seems like I have now been vindicated.
